‘TIS THE SEASON TO BE…lazy!

I can’t believe that it is that time of year again! I swear the holidays were just a month ago. Boy does the time sneak up on you…and at the most busiest time of the year. I think back to last Christmas and it dawned on me that it was 10 months ago…REALLY?

Of course now, like every year we have so many plans that we want to get around to this year BECAUSE we procrastinated last year and never got it done. C’mon people, you know what I mean….the themed Christmas tree decorations, the lawn and house lights, the family dinner, the presents and getting the perfect wrapping paper and ribbons (just for them to get ripped off and thrown out). But out of all of those things, my biggest deal is the Holiday Cards to send out to family and friends. I always intend to do them, and by the time I am finished putting the letter that explains what the family had done in the past year, and the family photo-well, its already three days before Christmas! SO of course, I never bothered sending out the cards by that point and always saved them for the next year, and all I had to do was switch out last years letter with the current year and guess what? I never sent them out. I needed a solution!

Thankfully, a couple years ago I stumbled across Shutterfly.com and what a time-saver that was! You can upload your favorite family photo, add a small message and send it off to print. Within a week–of course it depends on the shipping speed you select- its on your doorstep with a set of envelopes. Well now all you have to do is stuff, seal and ship. They usually offer free shipping if you put your order in before the Thanksgiving holiday. Such a great incentive for me to order them, then the cards won’t ever go out late again!! =)

Just recently, I was introduced to these cute Minibooks that are sold on Minted.com and they are ADORABLE!!! Tell the story of your year with 3-6 photos. Matte paper, bound with chic grommets.They are without a doubt, the cards of the era-cute, modern, elegant and more than just a fold out card or fancy decorated photo.

You are sending out a memory, and with a recipe included in the MiniBook, you are adding a bit of a personal touch-sharing just a little bit of the holiday joys from your family with others.

However, if you are looking for the most out of your money, I suggest you order a large quantity since purchasing 15(which is the minimum quantity) they run about $5.44 ea.  So if you order 85 cards, your looking at about $3.44 a card. =) great deal if you ask me for the amount of paper and ink put into this card.When you order the cards, they also come with beautiful address labels that are all different depending on the design that you choose for your cards.

So if you are a busy mom, or dad…this is a great way to send out beautiful holiday cards to share with friends and families during the holidays.

Earlier this year they announced that FTTS will be taking a hiatus for a while while they work on separate projects in their solo careers. It’s NOT a permanent break up, just a break, so lets pray that their Solo careers succeed and hopefully in the future, maybe they will release another album as Fly To The Sky? I so hope so!!!
